Updates to our pricing and product strategy.

It has been just over a year since the first launch of Smootify on the official Webflow Marketplace.

In this short period of time, we've seen an overwhelming level of interest from our community, which has motivated us to dedicate all our efforts to continuously developing new features and improvements for our app.

With this latest release, our team has achieved the following:

1. Five new powerful add-ons, some of which include advanced features that are only available with the Shopify Plus Plan for users who rely solely on Shopify, unlike our system.

2. Two new templates: one completely free to showcase the power of our new Product Configurator, and a premium one to give a full overview of what you can now achieve with Smootify.
‍
3. A richer and more performant library of new components, all integrated into our completely redesigned Smootify Webflow App.

4. We have fully rewritten our documentation, the heart of our system, making it simpler, more comprehensive, and easier to navigate.

5. We’ve redesigned our dashboard to make project management more streamlined and organized.
‍
6. Our Desktop app has been redesigned and improved, making it even more intuitive and efficient.

7. A new Affiliate Area to allow content creators on Smootify to earn through our commissions.

These updates mark the start of a new era for our app—an era defined by constant updates and new features that we will continue to deliver to our users every month, thanks to the new paths opened for the development and enhancement of our application.

In light of these updates, as well as the exciting changes on the horizon, we’ve decided to adjust our pricing to better reflect the current value of our app.

The Lite Plan will increase from $12 to $19, and the Server Plan will go from $39 to $49 starting from May 5, 2025

The annual plan will always maintain a 20% discount.

This price update will apply only to new projects initiated from May 5, 2025.
Existing projects, monthly and annual subscriptions, will retain the original pricing.

It’s important to note that the combined cost of Webflow CMS Plan+ Shopify Basic + Smootify Lite is lower than the Webflow Ecommerce Plus Plan, and significantly more affordable than running a store entirely on Shopify (in the traditional way, without paying for Webflow and Smootify). With Shopify, in addition to the Shopify Basic plan, you would need to pay for third-party app subscriptions to access the same functionality these three software packages provide together.

With this price update, we remain the most cost-effective option among the Webflow to Shopify Headless solutions available on the market, while offering a significantly larger number of features and tools.

Our goal is to make our application the standard for all Webflow users who want to create an advanced and professional Ecommerce site, with ever-more sophisticated features, without sacrificing the design freedom offered by the tool we all love: Webflow.
